Frontman Matt Berninger tells tales of illicit encounters and forbidden affairs while the addition of multi-instrumentalist Bryce Dessner fleshed out the band’s sound. Includes the songs: “Lucky You,” “90-Mile Water Wall,” and “Cardinal Song.” Twelve tracks in all. 2021 remastered pressing released by 4AD.
